The Murabbi Institute

The Murabbi Institute is an initiative of Al Siraat College dedicated to strengthening Islamic parenting and tarbiyah in families, schools, and communities. We believe that parents are the first murabbis, teachers are co-murabbis, and scholars are guides in this shared responsibility of tarbiyah. The Murabbi Institute is honoured to be guided by Professor Mohamad Abdalla AM, who serves as our Honorary Advisor.

Our Goal

To equip parents and educators with practical, faith-centred resources that help nurture young people who know Allah, embody excellent character, and positively contribute to society. We do this through publications, online video series, workshops, seminars, and community initiatives.

At its core, the Murabbi Institute promotes a Prophetic approach to parenting that integrates:

Nurturing understanding through meaningful knowledge

Guiding learning through clear and effective teaching

Cultivating adab, manners, and strong character

Nurturing the heart and strengthening the connection with Allah

We believe that tarbiyah begins in the home through everyday interactions, consistent guidance, and intentional parenting rooted in faith.

Through its work, the Murabbi Institute seeks to be a trusted companion for parents — equipping them with the tools, clarity, and confidenc e to raise children who live with purpose, uphold strong character, and remain firmly connected to their deen in a rapidly changing world.

Parents. Educators. Scholars. One Shared Mission.
